Daphne Lorna Handmade White Horse Earrings capture the spirit and elegance of the majestic white horse, known in folklore to grant wishes to those fortunate enough to see one. Each pair features a stunning silhouette of two powerful horses, intricately etched onto a small rectangle of brass using an acid-free etching process. These earrings are a perfect gift for equestrians, horse caregivers, and anyone who admires the beauty and grace of these magnificent creatures.

Available in two exquisite finishes, matte silver and antique brass, these earrings cater to diverse styles and preferences. The earwires are crafted from high-quality materials, with sterling silver for the silver finish and 14K gold-filled for the antique brass option, ensuring durability and comfort.

With precise dimensions of 0.4" x 0.8" for the rectangle and a drop length of 1.3", they offer a delicate yet striking presence. Handmade in Montana, these earrings are also nickel, lead, and cadmium free, making them suitable for sensitive skin. Embrace the charm of the equine world with these stunning earrings, a perfect way to celebrate your love for horses.

Matte Silver Finish:

The etched piece is electroplated with 500 microinches (µin) of sterling silver, a slight oxidation and a protective finish. Most silver plate is just 10 to 20 µin thick, making this at least 25 times thicker!  This process is a nickel free process.   The result is a gorgeous matte super durable silver finish. Take care of your piece just like any other silver jewelry you have. Keep it a cool dry airtight box, bag or the packaging it comes with. You can use a silver polishing cloth or sterling silver cleaner but all you really need is a clean, soft cloth.

Antique Brass Finish

After the piece is etched and cleaned up, we darken it with a brown-black oxidizer but then remove almost all of it, leaving just enough oxidation to bring out the details of the design. We finish up by giving it a light lacquer to keep it looking beautiful. Like the silver finish, just care for this piece as you would any other jewelry. You can use a polishing cloth or clean cloth or even give it a light buff with a nail file. Lead-free, nickel-free, and cadmium-free.
