From the Qualifier Collection the Rusty Nail is a fine looking Genuine 10X Shantung Panama made by Resistol in the USA. It is a long oval with a 4-3/8" vented crown and 4-1/4" brim. Features include all around venting, a brown leather hatband with a brown concho and star, stain resistance and water repellent Vinylcote and a comfortable, moisture wicking Dri-Lex sweatband.
Vented hats have a tendency to be wavy and uneven.

Arrived in great shape. Shipping box and internal container kept the hat securely in place.

This is my new favorite warm weather hat, because of the high-quality vented pattern that runs around the crown. This hat is well made and it has a high crown (4 3/8") so it sits low on your head. The shovel front brim is perfectly angled and it also has a Dri-Lex sweatband that won't shrink, if you forget your hat in your hot truck. The leather hat band and buckle set add a subtle Old West style to this stylish western hat. It has all the elements in the correct proportions (including Long Oval shape) to make it a classic design and give me the exact look I was going for. Love it!
