Made in the USA the Stetson Frederick comes at a very reasonable price. Constructed of 100% wool it has a 2" under welt brim and 4 1/2" (approx.) center dent crown. Features include a wide 1 3/4" grosgrain ribbon band with Stetson pin and removable feather, leather sweatband and full satin lining.

Definitely a 4.5 star item
The hat is exactly as described. The color looks just like the picture and it is well made. The seems are perfect and aligned and the band inside the hat is comfortable. The felt is of good thickness, not cheap and thin like I have seen in other hats. I used a string to measure my noggin and sized and purchased one that corresponded to that size but was too big by 1/4" to 1/2". I called Mike and he helped me with finding the right size. Turns out hat sizes can vary even with Stetsons. Using the foam strip behind the band I was able to get the new hat to fit on my head better and it doesn't roll around like the first one. If your measuring your head use a cloth measuring tape not a string. It's much more accurate... Lastly, shipping was fast and the hat was well packed in a sturdy cardboard box.

Fantastic Job by One 2 Mini...
By way of customer service, Mike was simply terrific. Ordering the Whippet from One 2, the price was right & Mike was able to make sure the package got out the door that morning. It left Texas Tuesday morning and was on my head in NYC Thursday night. Which big companies are doing that? The hat is exactly as pictured. I'm a 7 5/8 and the XL is perfect. I'd say an XL would also serve size 7 3/4 nicely. It's a good quality hat and that looks & feels like a good hat, if you know what I mean. Probably going to order a camel one as well. Very happy with the hat. Well made. Bought it for my son for Christmas. It only took 3 days to receive it. Shipping can't get any faster than that. What really sold it on me is the return policy in case it doesn't fit. All I have to do is ship it back and they'll send me another size. And for all those who would complain about paying for return shipping all I can say is if I ordered the wrong size it was my mistake. I should be the one paying. Thx
