Made in the USA the Stetson Open Road is constructed of Shantung straw and has a 4" (approx.)regular oval crown and 2 3/4" brim. Features include all-around venting, leather sweatband and brown (chocolate) or tan (cognac) grosgrain ribbon band with Stetson pin.
Please note that the venting on these hats has a tendency to be wavy and uneven.

The hat is very nicely made. The leather sweat band is comfortable. The color is also very cool. The hat functions well also even though the brim is shortened. I am happy with my purchase.

Zero issues
Hat shipped quickly and arrived as expected. The ribbon was a little bent, but i took care of that. The hat is nice and was packaged well in a shipping box. The hat itself was packaged inside of one of those "thank you" plastic grocery shopping bags which was a little odd for a $100 hat, but glad they put it in at least something to protect it during shipping. Overall love the hat and the service.

STETSON SHANTUNG STRAW VENTED OPEN ROAD WESTERN HAT
The hat had a few prominent dents on the crown that I had to repair. Luckily it was able to hold the originally shape after the repair without any creases. Unfortunately the parts they were repaired left that part of the hat a lot softer than the rest of the hat and not consistent with the stiffness it should be. For the amount of money I paid this hat shouldn’t have had these dents and part that was smashed in. Shipping was fast though.
